District

The Massachusetts House of Representatives’ 1st Bristol District is made up of the Town of Foxborough, precincts 2, 3, 6, and 7 in the Town of Mansfield, and precincts 3, 4, and 5 in the Town of Norton. This district has a rich history of electing independent-minded men and women to represent their interests on Beacon Hill. Jay Barrows is proud to become part of that tradition.

This district is home to several important landmarks and entertainment venues that are well known throughout the country. Foxboro is home to Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots and the New England Revolution. In the summer months, Gillette Stadium will host several concerts and events. Mansfield is home to the Xfinity Center amphitheatre. This venue hosts big name musical acts during the summer and fall months. The Xfinity Center is also easily accessible off of Route 495. The Town of Norton is home to both Wheaton College and the TPC of Boston golf course.

These settings are vital to the economic expansion and prosperity of the towns in which they reside. They attract people from all over and provide much needed revenue to our towns. From sports venues to institutions of higher education to concert venues, the 1st Bristol District has much to offer and only adds to the abundance of culture already existing in Massachusetts.
